One day as a curious seven year-old while out with Mom, I knocked a rather expensive clock off a shelf in a store. It landed on the floor, face broken, with its gears scrambled in all sorts of unlikely positions. Even at that age I knew that “we” had just purchased a clock — and not a terribly useful one. In an effort to redeem myself, I promised to fix it. Nobody’s hopes were very high.
Several days later, with some coaching from a patient grandfather, the clock was ticking away again. The feeling of satisfaction was the best thing I could’ve imagined. That’s when I first realised
I have a knack for solving problems — figuring things out and putting the pieces together to save money and time.
I like inspiring others to do the same.
The passion for solving problems and creating value has stuck with me. Today I make systems talk to each other, wrangle data, write code, revamp processes, and string words together in several languages. When I’m not in front of a monitor, you’ll probably find me on a mountain trail with a backpack and tent, paddling a kayak or in scuba gear chasing sea turtles around a reef.

Established new HR Master Data department one year ahead of industry norm. Included data quality standards, normalizing data, hiring staff, creating training program for staff worldwide and implementing new business processes.
